Color Blocking.

friday, friday, gotta get down on friday. . .

I've been a fan of this white-hot trend since before it was referred to as color blocking. Back then, it was called: Pair a bunch of bright colors together without looking like you went apeshit. Color-blocking means making sure that you pair a couple (or a few, depending on just how bold you are) meshing colors together to create a statement outfit.

Combinations that I can't get enough of?

emerald / navy / black
watermelon red / emerald / black
amythest / tangerine / white
fuschia / yellow / white (pictured!)

When pairing your brights, always choose a neutral to balance out your outfit.
White is clean, crisp and stunning, and draws even more attention to the colors you've paired.

Dolce + Gabanna rose-colored tuxedo jacket, H+M yellow tank
All Saints chalk pipe skinny jeans, Christian Louboutin Balota heels, Jil Sander market bag
