Beauty-ful Sunday.

It's always fun opening up my e-mail to beauty questions. My cosmetics box is continually expanding, meaning that if you ask me on Monday what my favorite eye shadow is, you may just get a different response than you would have if you asked on Friday. With so many amazing products out there, how is it possible to stick with just a few? Of course, I tend to re-buy products that I know work, and products that I know have made me look and feel my best in the past. But - I'm not one to shy away from trying out a free sample or two here and there, and raving about it on Frosting.

I've decided to spend my lazy Sunday posting a few frequently asked beauty Q+A.

Best zit zapper

Contrary to what many of my girlfriends would advocate (cough, Mario Badescu), I'm partial to some good old Crest toothpaste. I swear, toothpaste works miracles.

Favorite eye shadow

I generally like to amp up my blue eyes one of two ways- with a smokey eye or a glittery nude eye. To achieve my smokey eye, I use the LORAC Color Me Couture eyeshadow palette. For my glittering nude eyes, I just use MyFace BlingTone eyeshadow in Morocco.

Hair maintenance advice

My hair isn't real. Well, half of it isn't. I clip-in my extensions every morning, which now takes me five minutes. I am over the moon obsessed with Euronext Human Hair extensions. I wear mine in 22-inch Light Blonde. You have to take care of them once in awhile, because it's real hair. I legitimately stand over my bathroom sink and shampoo, condition, blow-dry and iron my extensions. I look like a creep, but beauty is time. Shampoo-wise, I love Johnson + Johnson. I use absolutely no product in my hair - it's too harsh! (especially since I color my hair). You're supposed to wash your hair a couple times a week, but I break the rules a bit. I wash my hair every other day.

Favorite perfume

Argh, a difficult one! I'm a bit of a perfumista, in the sense that I love mixing my perfumes to create entirely unique scents. My favorite as of late is the combination of Aqolina Pink Sugar and Salvatore Ferragamo's Incanto Bliss. The combination is lethal but sweet - just how I like it!

Typical beauty regimen

Okay, so these are the products I swear by- L'Oreal TrueMatch foundation, Sephora-brand blush, EOS lip balm, Christian Dior eyeliner and Benefit mascara. My day-to-day makeup routine is pretty basic. For me, it's impossible stepping out of the house without a bit of chapstick and uber-rosy cheeks.
