A Bright Idea.

I'm still a poor twenty-something living at home, so the closest I get to splurging on couture and high fashion is, well, flipping through the pages of my monthly five-dollar issue of Vogue. However, we must not forget that while the average girl may not be able to drop a thou on a pair of crystallized Giuseppe Zannottis, she can still afford to pull together a look sure to turn even the biggest fashionheads in the biz.

While American Apparel is my usual go-to outlet for everything bright and illuminated (I die for their neon-colored bike shorts and leggings), there are a few pieces I venture elsewhere for. How great is the Stacker ring (for twenty bucks?!) and mustard-yellow nail lacquer? Bright clothing and accessories should be kept to a minimum, or you will look like a lost night biker, but they provide a perfect pop (especially for the summer).
