{ what better way to kick off a snow day here on the east coast, hm?! }
So excited to introduce guest blogger Danielle of No Eyeballs Please with her scrumptious sounding dessert, which, could probably pass as breakfast (your excuse is that it's made with coffee!). The ingredients you need to prepare her breakfast-sweet TOFFEE COFFEE CAKE include baking soda and powder, flour, salt, dark brown sugar, [regular] sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, strong coffee, greek yogurt and milk chocolate toffee bars (Danielle recommends HeathBar) so if your pantry is loaded, you're good to go! If you're sans greek yogurt and HeathBar, a quick trip to your local convenience store is in order!)
Without further ado. . .

Hi Frosties! I am so excited to share this absolutely delicious Toffee Coffee Cake recipe with y'all! A little about who I am: Danielle, first and foremost, and just as importantly, always evolving, eclectic and I usually have ten million ideas swirling around the 'noggin. I was born a Yankee and graduated, once, as a Red Raider from Texas Tech and was recently forced out of grad school (forced to graduate, that is! just, you know, ran out of electives...) with a Master's degree in Professional Counseling. I love to bake and create tasty, mostly good-for-you treats! Before I acquired a husband, my adorable brown dog served as my Chef Sampler; she was my main source of feedback, and this is how I know I'm simply a fantastic cook. Ha ha ha!
{ it's me, it's me! I'm on your left! }
I've been a vegetarian for six and a half years, and with good reason, but am constantly being questioned what I actually eat. My friends' curiosity and my love for whipping up tasty platters served as the main inspiration behind my positively yummy and creative vegetarian meals. Some key ingredients you can find in my recipes {on No Eyeballs Please!) include raw honey, goat cheese, garlic and fresh basil, lime juice, tons of spices, and red, red wine! While my blog is targeted towards fellow VegHeads, I make dishes pleasing to all! Promise! Seriously though, when was the last time you put MEAT in your waffles?? Enjoy!
{ the final product! droooooool }

that sounds very creative and not vegan at all... which means I definitely have to try it.
ReplyDeleteDanielle's recipes all look delicious. I'm far from being vegan, and I'm definitely testing a few out. XO
ReplyDeleteDanielle's been up for like a week and I've already tried two recipes (eggless egg salad and kale goat cheese lasagna). Glad to have added both her and now YOUR blog to my reader!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Her recipes really look delicious.
