Sexy Accents.

Redecorating isn't all about swapping out your old furniture for fresh furniture and painting your walls a different color. Sometimes, these amenities just aren't in our budget, especially for those of us (not pointing fingers) who redecorate like it's our day job (or wish we could, at least). A pro re-decorator, I've learned that adding little accents can tweak or completely change the look and feel of your living space depending on your vision, and thank goodness for that, or my savings account would be perpetually empty.

Oversized and personalized antique letters that you can hang add a fancy element to any room (errrr, maybe not in the bathroom) and you can find these at tons of craft shops, some thrift shops, and definitely at your nearest Anthropologie. Fancy (or wicker) magazine racks store your favorite reads in a stylish manner, and keep them nice and organized so your desk isn't looking like it was exported from a doctor's waiting room. Funky, modern and colorful storage bins provide the perfect amount of pop to any space. These are particularly fun. Playful pillows add pizzazz, especially these Scrabble show pillows (hello Words With Friends players!), and this inventive chalk board table can be a perfect fit in the kitchen.
