Rainy Day "WHOA..."s.

I smile so often that I constantly get people passing remarks on this happy trait. Rarely do I ever wake up without an ear-to-ear grin on my face, but this morning, I rose eerily irked, and an hour later, I still can't shake being somewhat upset, offended and quite honestly, shocked. You know how some people have the ability to lift you up and bring you back down again in one fell swoop? I debated that although this particular individual (after tossing and turning under the covers this morning) may indeed have had no idea that their lack of action was so offensive, it still was. And incredibly so. Then again, I don't know if I could say (after further debate) that I am surprised. But enough about that. If this morning didn't start off unsettling enough, I can tell it's going to be one of those dreary days for everyone (shit, what makes you say that, Jules?). The sky is gray and wet, and the temperatures frigid in comparison to what we've been getting accustomed to. Thank goodness for small things, like the fact that it's Thursday, and the start of my weekend. After all, there's always a rainbow that follows the rain.

On my to-do list today? Run my morning mile, choose a nail color to complement my fresh pedicure (I chose OPI Mint Candy Apple for my toes), pick up a Starbucks Trenta Dream Tea, continue on my never-ending cover letter-writing project, find the patience (that I've seemed to misplace years ago) to respond to a million e-mails (jewelers and clothing companies, I apologize for being such a brat!) and unwind with some indoor chocolate-cherry flavored hookah. Rainy days are the perfect ones to catch up on things you've been meaning to do but just haven't found the energy. How is everyone else faring in this dreary weather?
