I really wanted today's post to be funky and different, and I figured what better a day to take high fashion items, and flip the topic of conversation? Just because clothes have a slapped on heavy price tag, does not mean they are wearable. Our tastes will undoubtedly differ, but pictured are a few pieces I've found that I'd never be caught dead in.
{I will refrain from advertising which labels each of these items sport. Just know, they're all designer}
Let's chat clockwise, shall we? The yellow cropped-blazer. I mean, what? The color is totally in, but that's about the only factor this thing's got working for it. The material, the pattern... all wrong. It looked as though my grandmother and the team over at American Apparel collaborated and the results were a mess. The dress. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's just too retro for me. I'd never be lounging around in this outfit. The high-waisted leather shorts. There's a time and a place for these babies, I suppose. That would be alongside John Travolta, in Saturday Night Fever. The bag. Gag! The shoes. I'm an uber-weirdo, but I picture Benjamin Button wearing these. And anything that Benjamin Button would wear, I would not.
Did I offend you? Are these a few of your favorite pieces? Let me know!
What would you not be caught dead in?
That yellow blazer couldn't be more heinous, unless you paired it with those shoes. YIKES!!!
