Stalkers Anonymous.

I'm pretty sure we've all been guilty of it, guy or girl, break up-er or break-upee. There's always a little part of us that is curious as to what our ex has been up to after our break up, and some of us will go to extreme lengths to uncover. I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I've never been Creeper Majoro and looked up an ex's hook up (and by "look up" I mean stalk the shit out of), but you're not going to continue reading on pretending that you haven't, either.

When it comes to fishing for ex-evidence, our social networking sites provide all the bait we need to sink a good piece of information. Some of us (cough, girls, I'm looking at you) tend to be extra good at uncovering even the smallest of details; details that guys, you'd never think to scope out in a million years. Here's where it gets uber-creepy, though: When you've become dedicated enough to keeping tabs on your ex by tapping into outside sources, like people who may unknowingly be able to help you out in your little ex-quest. Rule of thumb? Stalk all you want (I won't judge you for it; Scout's Honor) but stalk suavely, stalk anonymously. Because when someone's caught on to your prying tactics, it's going to be embarrassing (for you, not me).

  1. guilty as chargeddddddd. although i've found once you're happily in another relationship, those tendencies tend to fade since you know you've "won" the breakup. am i right, or am i right? :)

  2. RIGHT ON THE MONEY BABYGIRRRRRRL. Til then, girls (and guys) have a tendency to keep tabs on their exes (especially if they're not over them yet). Some girls are just guiltier than others.
