Reality Check: Rejection is part of the game.

Kim Kardashian gets rejected every day for her signature butt. Paris Hilton is labeled a Daddy's girl moron, and we watched The Situation get his ass handed to him on a silver platter last night. Boom roasted. You know what I say? They're still winning (and I'm pretty sure my man Charlie Sheen would back me up on that one). The biggest societal pity is that we all love seeing each other fail, for some reason. It's a subconscious ego-boost, because if you don't look so good, I don't look so bad. In fact, Kim Kardashian is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful women in the world. I'd kill to have her bubble butt. And Paris Hilton? She's no dummy. As a matter of fact, both her and Kim Kardashian built entire empires around being socialities. And while, true, they had helping hands all around them, they didn't become the social icons they are today by being hand fed grapes on their yachts in Cabo twenty-four seven. The Situation capitalizes on his juiced up, signature Guido jabs and daily GTL routine. You may despise them for being so publicly dumb, but you can't fault them for being savvy enough to reach the top...

...before you did, anyway.

People are going to reject you on a daily basis, for whatever reason they feel like. You're too weird. You're too quiet. You're too loud. You're not smart enough. You weren't wearing the right outfit. You're not pretty enough. You didn't say the right thing. You have a mentally challenged brother. You have overweight parents. Rejection is part of life, but the more rejection you can endure, the more powerful a person you become. And at the end of the day, only you have to be able to accept yourself, anyway.
