While it's not quite the summer, warmer weather is quickly approaching, and one of my absolute favorite summer looks has got to be sexy little nautical numbers. High wasted shorts and navy stripes were, once upon a time, modeled by our grandparents, and the look has yet to get any less classic. The clean lines, simplicity of the stripes and bold but neutral colors are such versatile components that not only work, but complement almost any occasion (think summer!): Dinners on the beach, escapades on Martha's Vineyard, wine coolers at dusk by the fire pit. . . Nautical-wear is anytime-appropriate-wear.
