Dating Tip #9: He Pays... Or It's the Highway.

[9]

I don't care if all he can afford is McDonald's. If he considers this a date (which obviously, you must,
too), then he pays. I'm not talking about dates 5, 6, 7 or 8, or any of the dates the two of you go on after
that. I'm talking about the first few dates. Sound like an absolute DUH to you? Some of your peers
would beg to differ. I've been on first dates with guys who've "forgotten their wallets at home" (can you
believe that? where's your license, buddy?) and guys who've had to borrow a few, too, to spot our
meals. Girls: Always carry twenty-bucks with you when you go out with someone new. Chances are,
he's educated in proper date etiquette, but there are a few that are indeed, totally brainless.

Guys: Okay, don't take her to McDonald's. If you can't afford taking her somewhere impressive
(remember, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression), postpone the date. Seriously.
There's nothing more disappointing than a seemingly charming guy effing up big time right when we
decide we want to get to know you better.

  1. Some guys are so dumb. He should always pay if he's taking you out on a date!
