I hope everyone's Friday is off to a lovely start, because it's Friday, and the beginning of a new weekend: New opportunities to break from our routine beverages, new opportunities to meet new people at new bars, and new opportunities to tweak your life, even in the smallest of ways. This weekend will be all about recycling outfits for me, as I've mentioned I do often in my post about make-it-yourself LF vintage tees. Because the weather's been pretty kind to us this past 72 hours, I'm bringing out a few dresses that have been waiting for me in the pits of my closet. Since I've been out of college in Massachusetts, I kind of miss (and oh God, don't shoot me for saying this) the ruggedness of all the boys out there. Timberland boots is not a New England thing - it's a Massachusetts thing, for sure; one that I thought I'd miss just as much as I miss taking out the trash. In an attempt to salvage a bit of my college experience, I decided to incorporate some Massachusetts-Man into my wardrobe. Sounds intense, right? These killer Timberland Premium Round Heels offer just the ruggedness I was looking for. A pair of baby-blue Seven jeans tucked into these babies and an Emma & Sam navy polka-dot cotton dress from LF complete exactly the look I was going for - a mix between Connecticut-feminine and Massachusetts-rugged.
Hope everyone has a fabulous and inspiring weekend. Remember to break out a few pieces from your dresser drawers that have not recently seen the light of day.
I love those! Those are really really hot.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry but i think those are hideous. and i'd probably laugh if i saw someone wearing them out. especially in fairfield county.
