I love that you love that.

Sometimes I take a look at the couples I consider, in my head, to be the perfect ones. They're usually the couples that barely argue (and when they do, it's over whose turn it is to visit the other at school), kiss each other in public without causing a scene, and just look at each other like they wouldn't be quite so sure what to do if the other didn't exist. I'm the sucker that catches those looks, those desires and those moments of simple sweetness when no one else really cares to observe. Yeah, I'm a love enthusiast, and I explained myself as such when a friend asked why I was so devotedly rooting for his troubled relationship to work.

I am not the girl to give in with ease. I never was when you and I would argue over whose turn it was to visit. I didn't like taking turns, and I'd put up a fight if I had to trek twice, or three times in a row because your schedule didn't permit you to visit me on your turn. I don't like just kissing in public, but you know that. I'm a scene causer (you're a scene avoider), and I take my full-blown make out at every opportunity. The looks we exchange are rarely those of true lust and admiration (except for when we're sloppy drunk), but mostly puppy-dog eyes. I always find myself looking up at you, asking What are we doing?

So you see, in my mind, (and no doubt yours) it's never been perfect.
But what's perfect to me, is that you kind of love those things about me, anyway, don't you.
And honestly? I love that you love that.
