I thoroughly despised always being told as a little girl that I couldn't wear white after Labor Day. It always seemed that the prettiest of clothes came out in creams and stark snow-colors the second my mom told me I just couldn't wear it. Well, good thing for growing up, because one of my favorite colors to excitedly rip out of my closet after a fresh snowstorm is, yeah, white.
A cream-colored peacoat adorned with gold buttons makes a classic wintery statement, but if you're over being a Plain Jane, you can opt for more vivid ways to rock white. Ripped white jeans and accents like your nail polish and your purse are more unique ways to go. Chances are, your accessories will be more original than your outerwear.
